Nataly Aponte is a luxury jewelry collection composed with semi precious and precious gemstones set in fine metals.
Born in New York City, Nataly began designing jewelry at a young age and received a scholarship from Parsons School of Design. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting at the University of Hartford Art School.
Her passion for art, interiors, fashion, jewelry and exhibition design led to a two decade career in Visual Merchandising as Design Director for luxury good brands including Henri Bendel, Tiffany & Co. and DeBeers.
Nataly received her Accredited Jewelry Professional™ certification at GIA while simultaneously launching her iconic and inspirational Matchstick Collection in 2009.
Each Matchstick design is inspired by her personal and professional evolution. Nataly honors creativity and individual expression by encouraging the wearer to create their own unique story via their personal identification and resonance with color, gemstones, textures and tag-lines.
In addition to her signature Matchstick collection are modern luxurious designs including medallions in precious metals with diamonds, earrings for everyday wear and crown rings - bold statements with vibrant and colorful gemstones.
Nataly currently lives in Southern California and her jewelry is designed and handcrafted in Los Angeles.
“We all have an internal fire that resides within us – challenging us to pursue and achieve our dreams. Self love, personal expression, ambition, and the unspoken chemistry between two people all begin with a connection - and a spark.”
