Nataly Aponte uses her background in design and merchandising to curate outstanding vintage clothing, accessory and home collections. She does all the sourcing so you can sit back and shop one of a kind vintage pieces.

It all started with swatches. 

These were exotic leather swatches from Charles Jourdan, mind you, which were a gift from her aunt who worked for the French fashion designer. Nataly Aponte quickly transformed the scraps into striking avant-garde earrings envied by her peers. 

The Parsons alum and native New Yorker was raised on fashion, collecting vintage pieces and buying second-hand from an early age. Equal parts artist and designer, she earned her stripes—brown and white—as Design Director at Henri Bendel, the luxury department store where she honed her visual merchandising skills on the coveted cases and window displays at 57th and Fifth Avenue. 

Later, she worked at Tiffany & Co. and DeBeers before embarking on her own jewelry design, earning her Accredited Jewelry Professional™ certification from the GIA. Her Matchstick Collection debuted in 2019, and she continues to release new collections in addition to custom commissions.

Today, Nataly resides in LA, where she has become a well-known curator and reseller on Southern California's vibrant vintage scene. When she’s not designing jewelry, Nataly can be seen on Instagram live shows, where she shares her colorful collections of vintage fashion and home decor to a global audience. 

Her vintage pieces are available at Haus of Trade, a chic brick-and-mortar design collective in San Clemente. Nataly lives in an Art Deco high-rise in Long Beach with her dog Zaza.
